Yeah I guess this is late considering I've known about it for some time but figured I might as well post it here. Plus my old journal was annoying me.

Basically just posting this to say that next year I will be attending Drexel University with a 40% scholarship (I think...) as a major in Photography and minor in Journalism. I am so excited you really can't imagine. I've been waiting for this for so long and I really can't believe how far I've come in like what...two years? a little more.

It seems like just yesterday I was opening up my first camera, and crappy little powershot and oh how naive I was as to just where that little gizmo would take me. The other day I was looking back at my old old photos and was amazed, literally amazed, and how much I've grown as a photographer, and not to toot my own horn at all, but more or less entirely on my own. By that I mean no direct tutelage. All I had to teach me was two or three books that I dont think I ever even fully finished and lots and lots of experimentation. Plus not to mention the wonderful support of my friends, family and all of you. This site has given me such wonderful support and means of inspiration.

Now to be honest, I really dont know whats in store for me. As of now I'm going with a minor in journalism because I think thats what I wanna do, work with a newspaper or magazine as a photojournalist, but I am fully open to wherever I end up. I will gladly admit there is SOO much I have yet to try and to learn. I am still a novice when it comes to the technical aspects of Photography. I am looking foward to learning everything I can in the next four years.

Well enough of me babling...I really should be studying for an AP Psychology test I have in a few hours.
